My motorbike licence

This year I started with my motorbike driver licence A1, this means the theory is for the motorbike and car licence.
The first part is theory. I went almost daily to the theory lessons to learn all the trafic signes, how fast I am allowed to drive in a city, on a highway and all the roules in the trafic. Whenever I went there I made a test to find out how far my theory level is.
After a couple of weeks I was allowed to make the oficial exam. I passed it and I was very happy. Now I'm doing my practical lessons every saturday.
The first step of the practical part is training on a small training field to get the feeling for speed, balance, to break and stearing.
On Monday I have to do my first practical exam and if I pass that I'm allowed to stard with the second practical part. It means that I will take lessons on the street. I will drive in front of my driving teacher who is following me in his car, and we are conected with a walkie talkie.
If I pass this second practical test I have finally my motorbike licence.

Reflection of my Oral Presentation

Two weeks ado I did my oral presentation about my winter holidays on a cruiser.
I think that I did it good, but not very good beacuse I was very nervous and my voice was tembling a bit.
I used a powerpoint to show my class mades some photos of my trip and I think that some of them were interested in it. I also put some notes on the powerpoint to remember some things, but I think thay I didn't really need it, because I was very secure about my text. Only that I was very nervous and I forgot some sentences.
I strucutred my oral presentation in cronological order, what I did every day on the ship and all the things that the ship oferts to do if you want.
In my opinion I think that it was a interesting topic because for me it was a very special trip, and I think that for the others it was interesting too to listen to me.
I think that my pronunciation is very good and I hope that all in the class could understand me.

I would gave me a mark of 8! :)

My Oral Presentation

Hi, my name is Kim and today I'm going to explain you about my winter holidays from 2007. I went with a cruiser, a big boat, to the Canaries with all my family. First of all, is anybody here who has travelled with a cruiser?

So, me and my family flew from Barcelona to Tenerife the 20^th of December 2007 with Ryanair. When we arrived there, me and my sister were very exited because we never had travelled with a so very big luxurious boat. We met there my grandparents, who arrived from Germany to come with us. For them wasn't the first time to travel with the Aida diva, so is called the boat. So the idea to travell with the boat and do this trip was an idea from my grandmother, because she said that we must do it because it's very nice.

The ship was very big and beautiful, there can stay aproximatly 2000 people. There was a lot of diferent people. Many of them were families with children and teenagers, but there are some old persones too.

On the ship there were 300 rooms from diferent sizes. There were rooms with balcony, only with a window, some without window and some big suites. Me and my family had a room with balcony and a little bathroom. It was a very cute room, not to small for us and the beds were very comfortable, so we can sleep very well.

There were four diferent restaurants on the boat, and you can go to eat when you would and how much you like, because all this is include in the prize. There were 3 bars too, and they have open all the day and always yo can go to drink a coctail or something else. And every night the disco is open and you can go if you like.

The days passed were fast because all the day there are many things to do, for example go swimmig if it is sunny, play volleyboll, play tennis, play cards or only relax a little bit in the sauna. All the day there were entertainer who entertains you with dancing or singing.

But when you don't like to stay all the day on the boat you can get down and visit the diferent islands. We did the Canaries route and every day we arrived at another island and sometimes we went to visit the cities and went shopping.

The boat oferts every day to do a bike tour threw the island and my father did it every day. And me, my sister and my grandparents did the trip with the bus to see something from the beautifuls islands.

First we stayed two days at Madeira, it's a island from Portugal, and Funchal is a very beautiful city because at Chrismas time there were a lot of lights, and when it's dark all the city shines.

The next day we arrived at Lanzarote, it's a very dark island because there is no green and only volcanoes, but the cities are very nice.

Then we arrived at Gran Canaria, the biggest island from the Canaries and I think it's the most beautiful. Me and all my family went to a shopping center for shopping and buy presents for Chrismas. Then we went to a museum and I found it a very bit boring, but my father and granfather founds it great.

The last island we visited was La Palma, the green island, because there are a lot of plants and flowers, I found it very nice and we also went to the mittle of the city to drink a coffee and go shopping.

Every afternoon at 6 o'clock we must stayed another time on the boat because then we leaved and sayled to another island.

And every night there were shows who the entertainers danced and sang. And then you can go to the disco or play bingo.

One week later, the 27^th of December, we must flew back home.It was a very nice trip, I like it a lot and I hope that some day I can repeat because I ejoyed a lot and it was very funny and always you meet new people.

Fairy Tale

Once upon a time there was a sixteen years old girl called Alice. She lived in New York city with her stepfather and her one year younger stepsister in a big house. She was a very nice and inteligent young girl, but a little bit shy. She wasn't so happy because her parents died some years ago and she didn't liked to live with her stepfather and her stepsister because they didn't care about her. She was only happy when she could dance, because she loved it since she was a little girl.
One day, when she went to school, she met a very handsome boy. She realized that he was the famous dancer Dave Jones. She felt immediatly in love with him, but he didn't. First he only saw her as a good friend, but when he saw her dancing, he change his opinion and felt in love with her.
They pass many times together having fun.
But one day, Alice and Dave had a discussion and they were angry with each other. They believe that their love had ended, and Alice could't return to dance because it remembered it to much to Dave.
It approaching a dance competition and Dave was the moderator. Alice's friends wanted to persuade Alice to go to the competition and beat Eva, she was the enemie of Alice.
Alice would like to go because it was her dream to dance, but finally she diceded to not dance, only for watch the competition.
When almost ended the competition, Dave dedicated her a song because he loved her yet and Alice got up on the stage to dance with him. They kiss and were happy forever.



Why I put all 3 writings on here?

I put all the 3 writings on this blog because I can't choose which is the best, so I decided to poste all of them. I like all three writings, but in my opinion I think that the writing about Thirteen and Adrian Mole is better than the others because my teacher gives me a 9 out of 10 and the email I send her she gives me a 7. And I don't know the mark of the Fairy Tale yet, but I think that in this writing I can't top the 9.

Thirteen vs. Adrian Mole

In the book and the film there are some similaries and diferences.Adrian and Tracy are both thirteen years old and they live with their families in a house. They have a lot of problems who make them very unhappy.

Adrian is worried about the spots in his face, and he thinks that it is his mum's fault because she never gives him vitamins. Tracy never wants to eat something beacuse she thinks she is too fat and she wants to be beautiful like her friend Evie.

Adrian is in love with Pandora, but she goes out with Adrian's best friend Nigel, so he is not a very good friend because he knows that Adrian is in love with her. Tracy has got some more problems, she wants to be like Evie and started to smoke, to drink and to take drugs. When she doesn't feel very well she hurts herself.

Tracy's and Adrian's parents get a divorce and Tracy and Adrian don't like the new partner.

Tracy lives with her brother, mother and her boyfriend, and her father goes away, in Adrian's story his mother goes away with an other man and he must stay with his father at home.

At the begining of the film, some people laugh at Tracy because she doesn't wear very beautiful clothes, and then the people respect her because she was popular and has new cool friends and clothes. But at the end of the film, Tracy realized that Evie isn't a very good friend and that she was very unfair to his old friends. So she changes and was happy again.

Adrian, like Tracy, was bullied at school by a boy called Barry Kent. He always hits him and wants his money. But at the end, because his grandmother helps him, Barry Kent has stopped and he was happy. His mother comes back home to his father and they were happy. Adrian goes out with Pandora for a long time.

Hi Gemma,

This summer was a very beautiful summer, I enjoyed it a lot. In June I went to France with my family and friends by boat for four days. Then when I came back home I met some friends and we went to the beach and swam in the swimmingpool.
In July I went to Germany with my sister to my grandparents' house for two weeks in a city called Hannover. It was very nice to see them because I almost never see them. Then, my sister and me went to Berlin to visit my cousins and then we went all togheter to Kreta, a beautiful island from Greece. We stayed in a hotel next to the beach. I like it very much there, it was very funny to travel with my cousins.
When I came back home I met my friends and in the afternoons I had to work at a horse stable in Empuriabrava. I made some routes with the tourists next to the beach.
It was a very beautiful summer, I cannot wait for the next year's!

News- Michael Jackson's death.

Michael Jackson death who is Responsible?

The king of pop and his death is still a nightmare for billions of us! His death has given the world the most shocking news ever!

Janet Jackson the sister of the star told ABC News in an interview to air tomorrow that Cornard Murray, the doctor who was operating Michael Jackson with his last breath should no longer be allowed to practice medicine. “He was the one that was administering,” she said. “I think he is responsible.”

Prosecutors in Los Angeles are weighing charges against Murray. A spokeswoman for Murray, Miranda Sevcik, said yesterday that Murray continues to maintain that he neither prescribed nor administered anything to Jackson that should have killed him. Jackson told ABC’s Robin Roberts that she was at her home in New York on June 25 when her assistant called to say that Michael had been taken to the hospital.

.She says that a day doesn’t go by when she doesn’t think of Michael. “It just didn’t ring true to me. It felt like a dream,” she said. “It’s still so difficult for me to believe.”

So it is for his millions and billions of fans who are simply mad about his music! A grand salute to such a remarkable international figure! He created history in the world of pop and none can ever replace his originality whether it is his singing or nerve racking dancing steps!

My opinion:

I think Michael Jackson was one of the most famous and fantastic singers of all time. I was very sad to hear the news of his unexpected death. I don't know who is to be blamed for his death all I know is that I will miss the King of Pop very much.
Since Michel Jackson has passed away, I think people have become more interested in his work and life story. People seem to apreciate everything he has done, including all he has given to help other people. Michael was a very loving man, and I think he will be remembered for a very long time.
I hope our children and there children will get to hear his songs and see the great singer he was.
I don't think it was apropiate for him to have so many plastic surgery, as he already was a goodlooking man. I guess everybody has a opinion, that is just mine.
I would like to believe that there will be someone else as talented as Micheal to become famous before my lifetime is over. He was such a great singer and a fabulous dancer, he is very well known for his excelent dancing as he careographed all his own moves. One of his most famous moves is the 'Moon walk'. After everything that Micheal Jackson has given the world, I think he will be remembered as the famous 'King of Pop' forever.

1st Batxillerat.

This year is my first year in Batxillerat.
Up to now I have found it very difficult, and I think that in some subjects I will have some problems learning the things the teacher is explaining to us.
Last year I finished my last year of school, so it has been a big change for me, as I am not used to such a high standerd of working.
I hope I pass everything as I would like to finish Batxillerat in only two years of studying.
I really like my teachers, I allready know some of them from last year, because I do Batxillerat at the same school as I went before.
My planner has different timetables this year, and I get to have my breaketime outside the school, so I usually go with some friends from my class for some breakfast and coffee at a little cafe/bar next to the school. It is nice to have a break from studying for a while.
I also go home now for dinner, as I only have Batxillerat in the mornings.
I wish I pass all my subjects with hight scores and do 2nd Batxillerat next year.

My favorite hobbie.

One of my favorite hobbies is horseriding.
I started horseriding two years ago, I really enjoy it I have a really good time.
The first horse I rode, was called Cun. It was a brown horse with a long mane.
But sadly after a few months the owners had to sell him.
So afterwards I managed to find another horse I could ride, named Fosc.
He was a white horse, he was very tall, and very friendly.
Later on I started riding another horse called Homer Simpson, he was a short horse with light brown nearly yellow coloured hair. He wasn't a easy horse to ride, sometimes he didn't do the things I wanted, he had a lot of character. Sometimes I got really frustrated with him, and walked away from him angrily. But in the end, I allways went back to see him, because I liked him really.
Sadly, he also had to be sold, so I started riding another horse called Noble. He was a Arabic horse, he was very beautiful. My father's friend has a lot of horses at the stables I went to, so he offered me to ride on his white horse called Indi. At first I was quite scared to ride this horse, because he is a very big horse and you have to have a lot of experience to ride a horse that size. But finally I got the hang of it, and I have learned a lot with him. I ride every week, and enjoy spending time with him. He is my favorite horse I have ever riden, and I hope in the future my father's frined doesen't have to sell him, like the past horses I have riden, because I love him very much.

Lady Gaga.

My favorite singer at the moment is Lady Gaga. Her music is very good, and the way she represents herself is very original.
Her music videos are very creative, and she dresses very strangely.
She is one of the most talked about people in the world at the moment, not just because of her music but also her image.
There has been a lot of story's about her, some stranger than others, but nobody really knows the truth. She has been performing as a singer/dancer since a very young age.
She has wone many Awards for her abilaties, and become very famous.
I really would like to go to see her one day at one of her concerts, everybody that has been to one has told me that she puts on a great performance and she is an exellent singing artist.
Her latest song, 'Bad Romance', from her new album 'The fame monster', will be coming out in stores very soon, where she also has recorded a song with Beyonce.

My favorite films - Twilight saga.

My favorite films at the moment, has to be the Twilight saga.
Before the films came out, I had already read all the books. I loved the story between Bella and Edward so much that I was so exited when I heard on the television that they were going to make a film out of it.
When the first film came out, Twilight,I must of wached it a hundred times!
The second film, New Moon, has just come out yesturday, so I went to the cinema with a friend to watch it. It was so fantastic! I want to see it again next week with my other friend because she coulden't make it, she was at the hairdresser.
In my opinion, I thought the books were a lot better, you had more details to read about, and could really see the true caracters. It is very strange seeing the movie after reading the book, because you have already imagend the caracters in your mind, and once you see someone else represent them in a film you see a diferent image.
I hope the time passes fast between now and June, because I cannot wait to see the next Twilight Saga movie, Eclipse!

My best friend.

My best friend is called Kimberly. We have been friends since we were only two years old. Ever since I meet her we have been together. She lives ten minutes from my house so at the weekends we get to meet each other. Growing up together has been strange, because my name is Kim and her name is Kimberly, people allways thought we were sisters!
She is very crazy, she allways makes me laugh, I can trust her with everything, we know each other inside out.
She has curly blond hair and big brown eyes, she loves wearing nice clothes and makeup, she is a very girly girl, we sometimes go shopping together and at the weekends we love going to the cinema.
She has a sister the same age as mine, and it is very funny because they are also very good friends.
I hope we stay friends forever, I love her so much, she is like my sister!
We are alredy planning our future together, we hope to go travelling one day around the world, because its both of our biggest dreams.

My holidays.

Last year in the winter holidays my family and I went to Gran Canaria for four days and we stayed in a little flat next to the beach. We visited the island, went shopping and went to the beach.
After that we took the plane and went to Fuerteventura for one week. It was a very beautiful trip, I like it a lot.
I went with my parents, my sister and my grandparents and we stayed at a resort. The resort was called Aldiana, it was like a hotel but we stayed in a bungalow. There were many people my age so we allways kept busy. The weather was very good so we went to the beach, played volleyball, tennis, went swimming and we played cards.
At the night we always went to have dinner in the resort's restaurant, the food was very good, every night there was special food from diferent countries. After that we went to the disco.

This year we are going again for two weeks, because all my family enjoyed it a lot and we think that it was a fantastic holiday. So we will do it again this chrismas.
